Over more than two decades, I’ve worked as a children’s book editor on dozens of children’s books—ranging from playful picture books to heartfelt chapter books and middle-grade nonfiction. Many of these projects went on to be published by Scholastic, Penguin, and Chronicle Books. Some became classroom favorites or found their way into libraries and bookstores. Others were self-published. One that I wrote even became a New York Times Bestseller!
